A team of three students, Dharmendra Kumar (2009 EEC 26), Gaurav Singh (2011 EEC 54) and Anmole Sinha (2011 EEC 64) participated in a National Level debating competition on the theme “Inclusive growth in India is possible only through Cooperatives” held at Natesan Institute of Cooperative Management, Chennai from 27th-30th Dec. 2011. Dr. Anil Kumar Tewari accompanied the students as the faculty-in-charge of the team. The team participated in the three events: Quiz Competition (Dharmendra Kumar and Gaurav Singh), Essay Writing Competition (Anmole Sinha in English and Dharmendra Kumar in Hindi) and Debating Competition (Gaurav Singh for the motion and Dharmendra Kumar against the motion in Hindi medium, and Anmole Sinha for the motion in English medium). It is very encouraging that Anmole Sinha won First Prize (Rs. 2000/- cash, Trophy and Certificate) in the essay writing competition.
