RESEARCH PROGRAMME

The School of Mathematics offers Ph.D. to limited number of candidates preferably in the areas of Algebra (Ring Theory), Discrete Mathematics (Graph Theory), Operator Theory, Topology and Operations Research (Queuing Theory) and Sample Surveys. Admission to Ph.D. programme is possible any time in the year through College Research Committee (CRC). Limited number of Research Assistantships for Ph.D. students is available which is decided on merit by the CRC, subject to the rules of the University.
