Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, New Delhi has chosen School of Biotechnology of our university to hold the next BTISnet annual Coordinators meeting to be held on 3rd & 4th Feb. 2012. About 175 co-ordinators belonging to various universities, CSIR & ICMR laboratories, ICAR Institutes, Universities, etc., from all over the country are expected to attend the meeting. Besides, 15 task force members and senior officers of DBT, Govt. of India, New Delhi like Dr. Madan Mohan, Advisor, Dr. Gulshan Wadwa, Director are coming for the meeting to monitor the work being presented by the co-ordinators.

The above programme is in collaboration with University of Jammu, Jammu and Preceding the Coordinators meeting the School of Biotechnology, University of Jammu would be organizing a one day National Symposium on Bioinformatics on 2nd Feb 2012 at Jammu . The university will be issuing necessary notification for the symposium separately.
