Shri Mata Vaishno Devi has established a full fledged training & Placement office consisting of Student Coordinators, Faculty coordinators and staff members. The Training & Placement Cell handles all aspects of Training of Students & Campus Placements for the graduating students at SMVDU.

Training & Placement Officials and the Volunteers facilitate the recruiters for Pre-placement Discussions, Conducting Tests & Interviews and Hospitality of the Campus Hiring Team. The Hospitality and the functioning of the Placement Cell at SMVDU is applauded and well received by the visiting recruiters every year.

SMVDU has designed programmes in the fields of Science, Management & Technology with an emphasis on excellent academics, research and satisfying professional career for the students. Corporate interaction creates optimum opportunities for the students to get exposed to the rigours of the corporate life while giving an opportunity to the corporate professionals to judge the students.

The Training & Placement department of the university is continuously engaged in organizing Corporate Training for the students of professional programs like B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech & M.B.A. Students are actively involved in this process along with the support of the faculty members.

The department places a significant focus on facilitating Placement of the passing out students by inviting well known organizitions to the campus to interview the students. The department also coordinates the organization of Jont Campus Placement opportunities for the students of the university.

Once again defined SMVDU@Banglore. Movik Networks India Private Ltd hired me as a shell programmer after 4 technical rounds with very good package special thanks to SHRI MATA VAISHNO DEVI UNIVERSITY.

The department also focuses on the overall personality department of the students and proactively conducts short term workshops by experts for the benefit of the students.

The department has been reasonably successful at providing placement opportunities for the students of the various professional programs in the last few years.

Student Coordinators

Student coordinators are actively involved in the Training & Placement process and are the dynamic force in the T&P Office.  These students are involved in all aspects of placement related issues like speaking to HR persons at Corporate Offices, organizing visits of the Recruitment teams, organizing visist of the students to Corporate Offices, preparing Placement Brochures, helping in conduct of mock interviews & group discussions, liasioning with Faculty Coordinators and the T&P Officer.

Faculty Coordinators

Faculty coordinators ensure that there is smooth interaction between the T&P Office and the Schools of Study.  Faculty Coordinators facilitaate the process of identifying the strengths and weakness of the students and guide them into proper training programs.  Faculty Coordinators are also invloved in organizing Soft-skills Workshops, Technical Workshops, Corporate Interaction, Field Visits and other activities.
